Ambush in the Asteroid Belt

In 'Tom Corbett and the Space Pirates' (the well-known literary classic), the Pirate leader senses that the space patrol is laying in ambush nearby his asteroid belt hideout. He springs the trap by sending a souped-up rocket scout blazing past the spot where our heroes lay in wait, tricking them into revealing themselves and attacking the decoy. Zoosh! Bam! Kapow!
