Concept of a ghostly one-eyed caribou for a project in development by director Brianne Nord-Stewart, based on a haunting short story by R. Van Camp.

The film was meant to be an atmospheric, low-key affair, but it did require one major VFX element — an enormous, ghostly, rotting caribou described in Van Camp’s story as:

“…running on dead legs. I meet its eyes but there are only antlers. In between the antlers is an eye. It too is cold and watching…”
