Hyperdrives require an incredible amount of power, and only the largest vessels can house them. In order to swiftly move entire flotillas of warships across large distances, this gigantic starship acts as a fleet carrier.

The form was inspired by the flamboyant lines of early pre-dreadnaught French battleships like the Masséna.

Interstellar Man-of-War

Inspired by the open-framework construction of admiralty models used by the British Royal Navy in the 18th century. The 'wings' are masts which unfold to deploy heat sinks which are used to dump the incredible amount of waste heat generated by the engines
